A Bit about them :

Lance and Martin met in 1990 when the former was with south coast indie band the Spoons.
Martin was to join as guitarist but popped out of the studio to buy some fags and the two would not meet again until 2006 at an Ian Brown gig.

The Spoons signed to Adrian Lillywhites Tunnel label and were produced by both Adrian and Steve Lillywhite. The single Show Me How featured on Radio One selling over 6,000 copies and the Video received extensive plays on MTV.

The band split and became the Bewley Brothers.
Releasing the single 'Spinning on a Time Bomb' and the Albums 'Songs from the Cypress Tree and 'Baby Six'. Now based in London , the band played with the Kinks, PJ Harvey, Bush, Baby Bird, Dodgy, Tom Robinson , Kirsty MacColl etc etc

Martin played with Dorset legends Rhythm Method and Martin Ansell and has recorded and played live with several European artists before climbing aboard the Jag. 

 Lance wrote several songs for the Ch 4 TV series 'High Five'(along with long term friend and collaborator Budge Magraw). Film music credits include Brit Movie 'Out Of Depth' Starring Sean Maguire, Nicholas Ball and Rita Tushingham. A film that won Director Stephen Cranny the Independent Theatrical Feature Films - Suspense/Thriller Award.
The Bewley Brothers 'Spinning on a Time Bomb' was chosen for the title track to the Movie 'Loop' starring Andy Serkis and Susannah York. Played live solo tour in China in 2005.

Basha originally played with John Peel favorite and indie chart toppers The Tours, Yeovil sensation Polly Harvey, Bassinger and previously with Lance in both Glow and Moon.
Joined the band in 2007. Lied about his age to Simon Draper when signing deal with EMI.

Eric played with The Vapours (Turning Japaneese) and also Hipster, The Tree Frogs and mod rockers the Curtains. Toured Europe with Barclay James Harvest in the German band Dark Ocean , for who he has played bass on four studio albums. Eric joined Bird Jaguar on bass in 2007. Also adding harmonies and production skills.

boogies and old favourites guarenteed to get your ass shaking.

Bel Casino was formed after lead singer Chris and drummer Johnny emerged from their previous band The Wildertones. Chris had been a creative influence in that band writing and singing catchy acoustic songs about his experience of life and love. Since the split Johnny had stayed keen, honing his already sharp and technical drumming style with thoughts of a new venture. Meanwhile Chris kept writing songs and before long they were looking for a new band.

Bel Casino's sound is about melody and meaning. The band is looking to connect with the audience's spirit with tales of love and adventure, locked up in stories and metaphors. But equally they hope to produce songs that work their way into the subconscious, until you just can't help but sing along, tap your feet or even dance about your room with your hairbrush!

Andy Grant is an innovative singer-songwriter with guitar skills to turn the devil green. Front-man for the Andy Grant Trio, whose live shows have been captivating audiences all over the South coast and London since early 2008, he is also a seasoned solo performer, combining bluesy vocals, infectious rhythms and inspired melodies.

After fleeing a job in a South African gold mine, Andy made ends meet playing his music on street corners from Melbourne to Copenhagen, now residing in Dorset, he has earned a wide and loyal fan base, winning over audiences time and again with his original, rootsy mixture of Blues, Rock and Jazz. Andy’s latest album ‘Hole in the Sky’ has had a fantastic response from fans and press alike, receiving radio play across the south coast from both commercial and BBC stations.

Andy Grant performs dynamic acoustic songs with infectious riffs, bluesy vocals and astounding guitar work. His live shows never fail to entertain whether as a solo performer on acoustic guitar, vocals and stompbox, or when fronting ‘The Andy Grant Trio’, backed by double bass and drums.

Andy’s new release, ‘Hole In The Sky’ (2008), is an 11 track collection of original songs that celebrates the human state of being, questions the decisions made on our behalf and instils our hope for the future, all delivered in a raw, funky and inflective way.

Three miles down in the bowels of the earth is not the best place to be, as Andy Grant discovered whilst working in a South African gold mine. Sitting in a tiny room, his only distraction was to lose himself in the sound of his battered pawnshop acoustic guitar, recreating the sounds of The Cure, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles.
What began as a distraction became his salvation. Desperately needing to escape the hot, dark, dangerous working conditions, inspiration struck - the guitar would be his ticket out of there.
Gathering up his few belongings, guitar slung on his back, Andy headed to the edge of town and hit the road. Music was a constant companion on every step of the journey, from jamming with Oud players in Morocco, to studying with a Sitar master in the Indian Himalayas. Further study of rock, classical and jazz styles rounded out his apprenticeship in all matters six stringed.

Playing from dawn ‘til dusk six days a week on street corners the world over, from Melbourne to Copenhagen, helped Andy develop his eclectic, powerful guitar style. This was showcased on his first album ‘Spirals’ (2003) a collection of tripped out guitar instrumentals.

On returning home to the UK, Andy refined his craft playing upwards of 200 gigs a year across the south coast and nationwide, developing his distinctive, rootsy vocals, honing his song writing and fine-tuning the live show. His music has been compared to the likes of Ray Lamontagne, Gomez and John Martyn.

Andy Grant’s most recent album ‘Hole in the Sky’ is a dazzling collection of songs, that showcases the extraordinary skills honed over his nomadic career. The album has had a resoundingly positive response from fans and press alike, receiving radio play across the south coast from stations such as BBC Southern Counties, BBC Solent, Original FM and Forest FM.

Formed in 2006 the boys drew the name from 'thebarebones.co.uk' - The Barebones 3 was agreed.

Three instruments: Drums, Guitar and Keyboards, and three vocals are all that was needed to create an instantly recognisable sound, with any song. The boys, with much deliberation, shifted weight and have since played various clubs, bars 7 live venues up and down the country, showcasing the newest niche in funk / soul / blues and southern-American rock.

Drawing from a wide and eclectic range of influences such as The Meters, Prince, Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder and the Beatles, the trio have been hailed as 'the smallest jam-band in the world'. Derrin Nauendorf

Derrin Nauendorf (Pronounced No-en-dorf) 31, is an Australian who blends blues, folk and country by combining guitar, voice and lyric to create a unique and passionate rootsy sound that has to be experienced; and can only be described as pure Derrin Nauendorf.

Since first embarking on our shores 6 years ago, Derrin has worked relentlessly to get his music heard. Touring firstly as a duo, then for several years solo and, more recently as solo, duo or trio with his newly formed band.

2006 has been a great year for Derrin so far; Along with the release of his new studio recorded band album and first commercial release The Rattling Wheel; Came a distribution deal with Pinnacle, national radio plays, ‘live’ sessions on BBC Radio 2 with Paul Jones and Bob Harris coupled with sessions on many local BBC and other radio shows, the publishing of Derrin’s lyrics for ‘Shipwrecked’ by Cambridge University Press in an English teaching guide, a full endorsement from Yamaha guitars, presence in various publications e.g Mojo, Q, Maverick, Blues Matters, Blues in Britain, and last but not least a 4 star album review in The Sunday Express alongside Jools Holland, Tom Waits and The Beatles! Great company indeed… And; whilst all of this has been happening Derrin has still managed to keep up with his busy touring schedule delighting audiences wherever he goes.

Rat Race are Dorset's premier Ska tribute act and you're guaranteed a fantastic show when these guys take to the stage.

They've been gigging in their current incarnation for over 3 years now and have supported the likes of The Beat, Bad Manners and The Selecter as well as pulling in crowds at venues all over Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.

Playing a mixed bag of Ska hits both old and new(ish), the band provide great entertainment for anyone remembering the days of Scooters, Skinheads and Ska, Ska, Ska!
